Highways have a long cultural history in the United States, They helped modernize cities with the transfer of people and goods. While traveling as a child I became intrigued with these mysterious tree-like things usually found along the highways. This series examines the surreal misplacement of the towers as they often fail to resemble the native trees of the area, bringing more attention to them and the landscape.
